PICTORIAL: VP Shettima, Abass, others at Akesan Festival

Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Iperu Remo, Ogun State, for the 37th annual Akesan Festival.

Shettima, who is the special guest of honour, was accompanied by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, Governors of Kogi and Kwara States, Yahaya Bello and Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, respectively.

This was disclosed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President, Media and Communications (Office of the Vice President), Stanley Nkwocha, on Saturday via his handle on X (formerly Twitter).

He tweeted, “On hand to receive the Vice President are the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, Senator Solomon Adeola (Yayi), former Speaker, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole, some members of the Ogun State Executive Council and several others.”
