Wase thumbs up Senate President Ahmad Lawan at 64
Deputy Speaker House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Ahmad Idris Wase, has described President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, as an exceptional democrat whose support to democracy in the country will remain indelible on the sands of history.
This is contained in a 64th birthday message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Umar Muhammad Puma, Tuesday, saying Senator Lawan has inspired hope in Nigerians.
He described Lawan as a committed democrat who has consistently demonstrated exceptional capacity in running the affairs of the red chamber.
“The Senate under your leadership has inspired hope for the citizens owing to your people-oriented policies, determination and commitment to the unity and prosperity of Nigeria,” he said.
The deputy speaker prayed Almighty Allah to grant him good health, and wisdom to continue to offer selfless service to mankind.
