Kano Guber: Alhamdulillah – Gov Yusuf reacts to victory at Supreme Court

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State on Friday thanked God following his victory at the Supreme Court.

the Supreme Court affirmed Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, as the duly elected Governor of Kano State.

Yusuf’s victory in the 2023 Governorship Election was challenged by the All Progressives Congress, APC, and its governorship candidate in Kano State, Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna.

The Court of Appeal had earlier nullified Yusuf’s victory in the election over ineligibility.

However, the Apex Court upturned the Appeal Court’s judgment.

Reacting, the governor posted on his verified X page: “Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah. – AKY”
