Pam emerges AMAC Broadcasting Service MD
The Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, has announced Ibrahim Yakubu Pam as new Managing Director of AMAC Broadcasting Service.
This was contained in a statement on Thursday, signed by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs to AMAC Chairman, Mr Kingsley Madaki, saying the appointment takes immediate effect.
Maikalangu enjoined the new MD to leave up to the confidence reposed in him by this administration, adding that he should harness the opportunities in the Council to widen the scope of the proposed AMAC commercial radio station; in order to attract business to the station.
Blueprint reports that Pam, before his appointment, was a Special Assistant on Media and ICT to former National Chairman of PDP, Alh. Bamanga Tukur, and was also a member Governing Council with the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda in Zamfara state and currently Chairman FCT Gymnastics Sports Association.
He was also the Executive Director, Production System Designs, Ikeja Lagos; Nonlinear Editor with a German firm, Sylvio Projekts Studio, Asokoro Abuja; Nonlinear Editor with Quest Media, Abuja; Production Manager with EloPee Worldwide Television.
He is a member Nigeria Union of Journalists and a Special Marshall with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
He was born in Fan District of Nding loh in Barkin Ladi LGC of Plateau State, on 18th September 1970, and holds OND in Broadcast Journalism, HND in Journalism, BSc in Mass Communication.
Pam attended several local and international trainings, including Entrepreneurship Development Certificate with the Centre for Management Development, Lagos and Certificate in Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises development from the Centre for Commerce and Economic development in Beijing, China.
