Bandits attack ZIPA Executive Secretary in Gusau
The Executive Secretary of Zamfara State Investment Promotion Agency, Hajiya Mariam Yaro, was attacked by bandits on Monday on her way to attend a meeting with investors.
She was attacked a few kilometers from Gusau, the State capital.
The terrorists were said to have opened fire on her, causing her various degrees of injuries.
She was rushed to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.
Efforts to reach the State’s police spokesman, ASP Yazid Abdulahi, for comments proved abortive.
