Nigerian Lawyer Collapses To Death Outside Courtroom In Port Harcourt

A lawyer has collapsed and given up the ghost outside a courthouse in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, leading to shock and confusion among colleagues.

The legal practitioner who is a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the state was identified as Eze Agala.

He reportedly slumped just as he stepped outside the Magistrate Court building on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt.

He was immediately rushed to the Police Clinic where he was confirmed dead.

The leadership of the Port Harcourt branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has yet to comment on it, but Felix Ashimole, another lawyer in the state appeared to confirm the incident via a WhatsApp message he shared on different platforms in the state.
