Rivers: Fubara dissolves task force on sanitation

Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has dissolved the State Task Force on Sanitation.

Fubara announced this during a meeting at the Government House in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, signifying a shift in the state’s sanitation management approach.

The governor also appointed Prince Ohia, the Special Adviser on Environmental Sanitation, to oversee sanitation efforts on an interim basis.

Ohia will lead sanitation initiatives until further decisions are made regarding the leadership of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA).
