List Of Buhari’s Appointees Who Attended First FEC Meeting In 2023
The first Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting for 2023 was attended by some ministers and presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Naija News reports that the FEC meeting took place on Wednesday at the Council Chambers in the Presidential Villa, Abuja, in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Nigerian leader is in Nouakchott, the Islamic country of Mauritania, for the Third Forum of the African Conference for Peace.
Those who attended the meeting include the Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan; Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Dr Adeola Ipaye, Minister of State for Petroleum, Timipre Sylva; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zubairu Dada; Minister of Science and Technology, Henry Ikoh.
Others are the ministers of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouk; Industry, Trade, and Investment, Niyi Adebayo; Health, Osagie Ehanire; Mines and Steel Development, Olamilekan Adegbite; Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige; Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola; and Agriculture, Mohammad Abubakar.
