We’ve seen the light for winning our elections – Bauchi PDP

The director-general of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign council in Bauchi state, Faroouk Mustapha, has said the party had already seen the light of winning the forthcoming general elections in all the elective positions.

Mustapha stated this Friday while briefing journalists on the campaign rally conducted in seven local government areas of Bauchi North by Governor Mohammed Bala.

The director-general said the level of love and solidarity enjoyed by the governor and his campaign team during the campaign rally “is a clear indication of PDP’s acceptance by voters in the state in recognition of its outstanding performance in the delivery of dividends of democracy across the state.”

According to him, Governor Bala has done so much in the execution of development projects for the benefit of the citizens and for the rapid development of the state.

He, therefore, solicited votes for the governor and all the PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections.

“The turnout of our people during our campaign rallies is unprecedented and we believe that PDP is on the ground to win all the elective positions in the forthcoming general elections in the county. “Before this campaign, our party had visited all the constituencies of the state for consultations for possible improvements in identified areas. We really appreciate what Governor Bala is doing for us in Bauchi on the platform of the PDP,” he said.

Mustapha, while enumerating new campaign strategies for Bauchi central, said the campaign council was working “assiduously to deliver for all the party’s candidates in the elections.”

On his part, the state PDP chairman, Hamza Koshe Akuyam, appreciated the support and cooperation of all the stakeholders of the party in the areas visited, and attributed it to the peaceful and successful conduct of the campaign rally by Governor Bala and other candidates of the party.
