Nationwide protests: DSS reportedly arrest Sokoto youth

The Department for State Service, DSS, has reportedly arrested a Nigerian Youth, Aliyu Sanusi, over the planned nationwide protests against bad governance in Nigeria.

Former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore, made known Sanusi’s arrest in a post on his X platform on Tuesday.

He said DSS arrested Sanusi on Monday evening in Sokoto State for allegedly printing and distributing protests materials.

Sowore in his statement demanded the immediate release of the victim.

“The lawless @OfficialDSSNG has arrested Aliyu Sanusi for printing and distributing #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria material in Sokoto state.

“He was arrested yesterday evening from the Sama Road Area in Sokoto. The DSS is directed to release Aliyu Sanudi immediately.”
