Like Kemi Badenoch, Nnamdi Kanu more Biafra than Nigeria – Brother

Kanunta, a younger brother to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has backed the leader of the Conservative Party leader in the United Kingdom, UK, Kemi Badenoch for saying she is more Yoruba than Nigeria.

Like Badenoch, Kanunta stressed that Kanu is more Biafra than Nigeria.

Posting on X, Kanunta said Badenoch’s remark shows that Nigeria is dead.

He wrote: “@Keir_Starmer @FCDOGovUK @UKParliament @UKHouseofLords @UKinNigeria The statement made by @KemiBadenoch is absolutely correct, she is more Yoruba than Nigeria meaning that Nigeria is dead.

“On the same note #MaziNnamdikanu is being held in solitary confinement for the past three and half years for saying, he is more #Biafra than Nigeria and The UKGOV sat on his neck, what a shame.”

in 2022, Badenoch had accused Nigerian politicians of using public funds for their private matters.

She claimed that her upbringing in Nigeria was overshadowed by fear and insecurity because the country is plagued by corruption.

And after she was elected as UK Conservative Party leader in November 2024, the Nigerian government, through the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM, was said to have tried to reach out to Badenoch but she declined.
