Gov. Mutfwang Credits Technology, Community Efforts for Plateau’s Security Gains

In a statement following his visit to President Bola Tinubu, Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State revealed that the state had seen significant security improvements in 2024, with no major breaches recorded. Reflecting on the difficult security challenges of 2023, Mutfwang expressed satisfaction with the state’s transition to a safer environment.

The governor highlighted the key factors contributing to the improved security, including the state’s investment in advanced technology and the mobilization of local communities. “We’ve heavily invested in technology and worked closely with our communities to ensure peace,” Mutfwang explained, emphasizing the importance of both technological tools and grassroots efforts in achieving the current stability.

He assured residents that the state’s focus on security would continue into the New Year, ensuring ongoing peace and safety.
