Shettima Predicts Robust Economic Growth for Nigeria in 2025
Vice President Kashim Shettima has expressed confidence that Nigeria’s economy will experience significant growth in 2025, offering optimism to Nigerians facing economic challenges. In a video shared by President Bola Tinubu’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, Shettima reassured the public that the government is working diligently to address the nation’s economic issues.
“We believe we have turned a corner. Insha Allah, we shall have very robust economic activity in the new year,” Shettima said, adding that the economy has already started showing signs of improvement. He assured Nigerians that they will begin to feel the positive effects in the coming weeks and months.
Shettima emphasized that the government is collaborating closely with the National Assembly to develop effective solutions for Nigeria’s national challenges. While acknowledging the impact of global economic crises, such as the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, on Nigeria, he expressed optimism that the country is on the path to sustained growth.
“The economy is turning the corner, and by the grace of God, we have crossed the Rubicon,” Shettima stated, wishing Nigerians well for the year ahead.
