Teenager Arrested for Allegedly Conspiring to Poison Husband in Jigawa
A 15-year-old girl, Zahra’u Dauda, has been arrested in Jigawa State for allegedly conspiring with her ex-lover, Lawan Musa, to kill her husband, Kamisu Haruna. The incident was confirmed by DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, the spokesman for the Jigawa State Police Command
According to the police, Zahra’u, from Bagata Gabas village in Kiyawa Local Government Area, poisoned her husband’s food, which he shared with two friends. Following consumption of the contaminated meal, all three men suffered severe stomach pains. Tragically, one of the friends passed away while receiving treatment.
The police have launched a full investigation into the incident, which has shocked the community. Authorities continue to examine the motive behind Zahra’u’s actions, as well as the role of her ex-lover, Lawan Musa, in the plot.
