Tinubu Inaugurates Key Development Projects in Enugu State

The Commander-in-Chief, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has inaugurated several major projects initiated by the Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah-led administration in Enugu State. The projects include groundbreaking advancements in education, healthcare, security, and infrastructure.

Among the highlights of the inauguration were the unveiling of 30 completed “smart green” schools, which are part of a larger plan to construct 260 such schools across the state’s 260 wards. Additionally, 60 Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres have been completed, with a total of 260 planned to improve healthcare access throughout Enugu.

Tinubu also commissioned the state-of-the-art Enugu International Conference Centre, featuring multi-auditorium and multi-functional spaces, designed to boost the city’s potential as a hub for conferences and events. Other infrastructure milestones included the completion of 90 urban roads in Enugu City, as well as the unveiling of a modern Command and Control Centre to enhance the state’s security.

One of the most impressive additions to the state’s security infrastructure is the deployment of 150 patrol vehicles, each equipped with AI-powered surveillance cameras to bolster monitoring and response capabilities.

The event was attended by key dignitaries, including Abia State Governor Alex Otti, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu, and Minister of Works Dave Umahi. However, notable absences included Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Anambra State Governor Professor Charles Soludo, and Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifiru, with no confirmation on whether their deputies represented them at the inauguration.
