Kano Governor Mourns Sudden Death of Special Adviser, Engr. Ahmad Bunkure”

The Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed profound sorrow following the sudden death of his newly appointed Special Adviser on Works, Engr. Ahmad Ishaq Bunkure. The tragic incident occurred on Wednesday in Egypt, just one day after Bunkure’s official swearing-in.

In a heartfelt statement shared by his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf described the late Engr. Bunkure as a dedicated and skilled professional whose expertise was anticipated to significantly contribute to his administration’s ambitious development plans.

“This is an incredibly sorrowful moment for us as a government,” the governor stated. “Engr. Bunkure was a man of remarkable talent and professionalism. His role was central to our vision of transforming the infrastructure of Kano State. His loss is a profound tragedy, not only to his family but to the entire political and professional community in Kano.”

Governor Yusuf offered prayers for Allah’s mercy on the deceased and extended his deepest condolences to Bunkure’s family, urging them to take comfort in the legacy of integrity and hard work that he left behind.

“He will forever be remembered as a man of principle and an exemplary public servant,” Governor Yusuf concluded.

The news of Engr.
