Samuel Anyanwu Resumes as PDP National Secretary Amid Controversy

Samuel Anyanwu has officially resumed his duties as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), despite ongoing legal disputes. Arriving at the party’s secretariat around 10:56 am, Anyanwu made his way to his office, where he was welcomed by his personal staff.

While sitting at his desk, Anyanwu addressed the media, categorically dismissing the recent statement made by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba. Ologunagba had earlier confirmed that the party had received an Appeal Court ruling recognizing Sunday Okoye as the new National Secretary.

Anyanwu responded firmly, saying, “That is his opinion. It’s not the opinion of the party.” He further clarified, “As National Publicity Secretary of the party, I wouldn’t want to disparage him. Maybe he didn’t get the facts correctly. I have appealed.”

The situation continues to unfold as Anyanwu’s appeal remains a focal point in the ongoing legal and leadership dispute within the PDP.
