Katsina Government Reaffirms Commitment to Crime-Free State, Seeks Stakeholder Collaboration
The Katsina State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs has reaffirmed its commitment to working with various stakeholders to create a crime-free environment for the state’s residents. This announcement was made by the State Commissioner of Internal Security, Nasiru Mu’azu Danmusa, during a courtesy visit from the Katsina Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Alhaji Aliyu Ma’aji.
Danmusa emphasized the Ministry’s ongoing efforts in collaboration with security agencies to combat banditry, criminal activities, and road traffic violations, all of which contribute to the state’s security challenges. He assured that the administration of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda remains dedicated to providing a safe and secure Katsina for its people.
“The Federal Road Safety Corps plays a crucial role in not only addressing road traffic violations but also preventing incidents that could escalate into security risks,” Danmusa stated.
In response, FRSC Sector Commander Ma’aji expressed the Corps’ willingness to align with the Ministry’s security initiatives. He commended the Ministry for uniting various security stakeholders and pledged the FRSC’s continued support in working towards lasting peace in the state.
This collaboration is part of Governor Radda’s broader vision to enhance security and foster stronger inter-agency cooperation, ensuring a safer and more secure Katsina for all.
