Tragic Crash in Delta: Suspected Yahoo Boy Kills Three in Reckless Driving Incident

A suspected “yahoo boy” is believed to have caused a devastating crash that left three people dead in the Okpaka community, located in the Udu Local Government Area of Delta State. The incident, which occurred late Thursday evening on January 16, saw the suspected yahoo boy driving a Toyota Camry at an extremely high speed. He allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a local shop, where the woman and her child were tragically killed.

According to reports, the woman and her baby were inside the shop at the time of the accident, and both lost their lives instantly. A man, who had come to purchase goods from the shop, was also killed in the crash.

Reckless Driving and Vigilante Justice

Witnesses say the suspect, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, was driving recklessly through the area when the accident occurred. After the crash, residents of the community quickly apprehended the driver. Enraged by the tragedy, the locals reportedly gave the suspect a severe beating before handing him over to the police.

The incident has left the community in shock, with many expressing outrage over the suspect’s reckless actions. As of now, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, has yet to comment on the incident.
