NBTE Grants Approval for Federal Polytechnic Isuochi to Start Academic Programs
The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted institutional and administrative approval for the newly approved Federal Polytechnic, Isuochi, in Abia State to commence its academic programs. The approval was formalized in two letters addressed to the Rector of the institution, dated 14th January 2025, and signed by Mrs. Fatima Kabir Umar, on behalf of the NBTE Executive Secretary.
The approval followed a resource inspection visit conducted by the National Board for Technical Education between 7th and 10th of January 2025, which assessed the institution’s readiness to begin academic activities.
Federal Polytechnic Isuochi is now cleared to commence academic programs with the approval of six National Diploma (ND) programs, which include:
- Computer Engineering Technology
- Statics
- Science Laboratory Technology
- Computer Science
- Accountancy
- Business and Administration Management
The Board’s approval marks a significant milestone for the polytechnic, opening doors for students to enroll in these key programs.
