Operatives from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) executed a high-profile raid at the headquarters of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) in Abuja on Tuesday, following serious allegations of fraud and mismanagement of funds. The raid, which occurred at 11 a.m., saw the detention of NAHCON’s spokesperson, Fatimah Usara, along with three other unnamed staff members.

This latest raid follows a previous intervention by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), which had also launched its own investigation into similar allegations against the commission.
