Body of Benchers to Induct 15 New Members Today in Abuja
The Body of Benchers Nigeria is set to induct 15 new members into its fold today, February 27, 2025, at the Body of Benchers Complex located at 12 Y.C. Maikyau Crescent, Institution and Research District, Abuja-FCT. The induction ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM and will also see the confirmation of new life benchers, bringing the total number of life benchers in Nigeria to 170.
This important event marks a significant moment in the Nigerian legal profession, as the new inductees will be formally welcomed into the prestigious Body of Benchers. During the ceremony, the official instrument of appointment will be issued to the new members.
Daniel M. Tela, Esq., Secretary of the Body of Benchers, confirmed that the dress code for attendees is formal attire, with suit and tie required.
