Anambra Barrister Cheats Death as SUV Flips Six Times Near Ndiukwuenu
In a harrowing incident along the Umunze–Amansea Road, renowned Anambra-based legal practitioner Nnamdi Chukwudebelu narrowly escaped death after his vehicle somersaulted multiple times at Ozu Village, Ndiukwuenu.
Chukwudebelu, an Associate Counsel at Kingsley Iruba & Associates, was returning from a court session at the High Court in Umunze, driving his Mercedes-Benz ML350, when the near-fatal accident occurred.
Eyewitnesses reported that the SUV somersaulted over six times after Chukwudebelu swerved to avoid a head-on collision with an oncoming vehicle. The violent impact left the vehicle severely damaged, but remarkably, he survived.
Following the accident, his family confirmed to TheNigeriaLawyer that he has undergone a series of medical scans and evaluations. Though he is still in considerable pain, they said he remains in stable condition and good spirits.
In a brief statement, Chukwudebelu expressed deep gratitude for his survival: “The Lord preserved me,” he said humbly.
The incident has sparked an outpouring of prayers and well wishes from the legal community and beyond, as colleagues and friends rally for his full and speedy recovery.
