Tinubu to Wike: APC Door Is Wide Open

President Bola Tinubu has openly invited FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), declaring the party would gladly receive him “whenever he decides to come.”

Speaking at the commissioning of Arterial Road N16 and other infrastructure projects in Katampe, Abuja, Tinubu said:

“Wike is not a member of our party yet, but we will welcome him anytime he chooses to join us. With him, APC will continue to be in a joyous mood, and our rivals will keep writhing in pain.”

Wike, a PDP chieftain and former Rivers governor, didn’t announce any party switch—but his praise for Tinubu’s leadership fed the buzz:

“Your good work has killed coalition,” Wike told the crowd. “You’re doing well, and that’s what Nigerians want to see.”
