Aminu Dantata, Eminent Kano Business Icon, Passes Away at 94

Renowned business mogul and elder statesman, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, has passed away at the age of 94.

Dantata reportedly died in the early hours of Saturday in Abuja. His death was confirmed by his Principal Private Secretary, Mustapha Junaid, in a heartfelt message shared on Facebook.

“With a heavy heart, I announce the passing of our beloved father, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and forgive his shortcomings,” Junaid wrote, invoking the Islamic prayer: “Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un” (From God we come and to Him we return).

Details of the funeral (Janazah) will be announced in due course, he added.
