No Fear of Death: Pastor Adeboye Paints Vivid Picture of His Final Day
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has once again spoken about how he believes he will pass on — a serene and spiritual departure he says will happen on a Sunday after church service and a meal of pounded yam.
Speaking at RCCG’s ongoing International Convention, themed “The Overcomers”, the globally respected cleric said his death will not be preceded by sickness or suffering.
“I will die on a Sunday after attending service, eat my beloved pounded yam, and then pass on without any sickness,” Pastor Adeboye said during his sermon.
This is not the first time the revered preacher has shared this vision. He first spoke about it two years ago, emphasizing the peaceful and dignified manner in which he believes God has planned his departure from this world.
While delivering a sermon titled “Possess Your Possessions,” the 82-year-old encouraged believers to embrace God’s promises boldly and live with confidence in their spiritual inheritance.
The statement has sparked reflection among followers, with many seeing it as a powerful reminder of living a life of purpose, peace, and readiness.
