I faced bully – Governor Umo Eno

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has opened up about his personal journey growing up with albinism, describing it as a challenging experience marked by bullying, body shaming, and rejection.

In a heartfelt post shared on X, the Governor revealed how those struggles shaped his outlook on life and strengthened his resolve to stand proudly today.

He further attributed his survival and success to God’s grace.

“Growing up with albinism wasn’t easy; I faced bullying, body shaming, and rejection. But today, by God’s grace, I stand proudly.

“That’s why whenever I see anyone with this skin condition, I make it a point to honour and recognise them,” he wrote.
