New Wig, Senator Dino Melaye Attends First NBA Branch Meeting, Intoduce Himself as “Bouncing Baby Lawyer”
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), yesterday welcomed one of its newest members, Senator Dino Melaye, at its monthly meeting held on September 12, 2025, at the NBA National Headquarters Auditorium, Central Business District, Abuja.
The meeting, which was hosted by the immediate past Chairman of the branch, Afam Okeke, Esq., witnessed the attendance of lawyers across different cadres of the profession. The former Kogi lawmaker’s presence was acknowledged during proceedings, but it was when new members were called upon to introduce themselves that Senator Melaye formally stepped out to introduce himself to the house as a “Bouncing Baby Lawyer”, called to Bar since July 2025.
Melaye, who was recently called to the Bar, joins a growing list of prominent figures in Nigerian public life who have taken up the noble profession of law
