“Your Wig Is for Sale, Your Suit Is for Sale, Judgment Is for Sale” – VDM Fires Back Amid NBA Drama
Social media activist VeryDarkMan has renewed his criticism of the Nigerian legal profession amid the controversy surrounding his attendance at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) conference.
The activist had earlier attracted criticism over his invitation to the NBA event, with lawyer Femi Falana among those who questioned aspects of his presence at the conference. VeryDarkMan subsequently hit back at his critics, arguing that the controversy was largely about the fact that someone like him had been invited.
In a fresh statement, VeryDarkMan questioned the description of law as a “noble profession” while alleging that money can influence different aspects of the legal system.
He said, “You call the profession a noble profession? When your wig is for sale. Your suit is for sale. Judgment is for sale.”
