Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has officially signed the newly amended Abia State Security Trust Fund bill into law, ensuring a more structured approach to funding security efforts in the state. In his remarks while assenting to the bill, Governor Otti emphasized the importance of institutionalizing security funding in Abia. With the establishment of the Security Trust Fund, Otti expressed confidence that the state now has a more organized system to manage and channel resources toward security matters.
“As we sign this bill into law, I have no doubt that with the powers given to you, members of the trust fund, you can now truly make an impact,” Otti said, highlighting the progress made in enhancing the state’s security infrastructure.
