The Ogun State Police have successfully rescued a missing girl in Ayetoro, Ogun State, following a swift intelligence-driven operation. The operation, led by Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, culminated in the girl’s safe recovery and the arrest of all individuals involved in her abduction.
According to a statement released by the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, the rescue was the result of coordinated efforts by the Anti-Kidnapping team. The operation was described as covert and was carried out with precision based on timely intelligence.
“The Ota missing girl was found in Ayetoro, Ogun State, by the Anti-Kidnapping team, and all suspects have been arrested,” the statement said.
The police have assured the public that further details regarding the operation, the arrested suspects, and the circumstances surrounding the abduction will be shared in a press briefing scheduled for today with Commissioner Ogunlowo.
In the meantime, the Police Public Relations Officer urged members of the public to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities to law enforcement authorities.
