“All Tenants must buy all things from Landlord wife’s shop or Park out” – Is this Tenancy Term Valid?

A term in a tenancy agreement posted on Lawyer’s Facebook group, The Nigerian Bar Association, has thrown lawyers into discussion and the validity of the Tenancy agreement.

The term mandates all tenants to buy their daily needs only from the shop of the Landlord’s wife and any tenants who defaults will not be able to renew his tenancy.
