The Anambra State Police Command has arrested two brothers, Chidiebere Okeke and Emebo Ogochukwu, in connection with the murder of their sibling, Chibuzor Okeke, in Oko community, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State. The incident reportedly occurred after Chibuzor was accused of burglary and theft.

The State Commissioner of Police, Nnaghe Itam, revealed that Chidiebere and Emebo caught Chibuzor in the act and subsequently beat him mercilessly. As a result, Chibuzor fell unconscious and was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. To cover up the crime, the suspects allegedly dug a shallow grave in their compound and buried their brother.

The Anti-Cultism Squad also raided a criminal hideout in Umunaga Village, Awka South Local Government Area, arresting two suspects, Okechukwu Chinwuko and Ezenwa Chinedu.
