APC Chieftain Shuts Down 2027 Election Hopefuls: “Tinubu’s Victory is Guaranteed”

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, Joe Igbokwe, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has firmly advised anyone harboring presidential ambitions to abandon any such hopes. Igbokwe’s statement comes amidst swirling rumors about a possible alliance between the Labour Party’s Peter Obi and the Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar, both of whom are believed to be aiming to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the next presidential race.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Igbokwe made it clear that Tinubu’s victory was not just certain but inevitable, asserting that the president would remain in office until 2031. He emphasized that a second term was crucial for Tinubu to “set the records straight” and solidify his legacy.

Igbokwe’s message to potential 2027 candidates was straightforward: “If anyone is dreaming of the presidency in 2027, I strongly advise that they abandon those ambitions until 2031. President Bola Tinubu is destined to remain in power until 2031. He needs eight years to set the record straight.”

In this firm declaration, Igbokwe reflects the unwavering confidence within certain APC circles that President Tinubu’s tenure is far from over.
