APC Confident of Victory in Katsina Polls
The much-anticipated Katsina Local Government elections officially began on Saturday, attracting the attention of both local and national figures. Former President Muhammadu Buhari was one of the first high-profile individuals to cast his vote at Polling Unit 003, located in Daura’s Sarkin Yarn Ward A. Voting alongside the Commissioner for Special Duties, Adnan Na-Habu Daura, the former president participated at 11:09 am, making his mark on the democratic process.
Governor Dikko Radda, alongside his wife, Zulaihat, and Deputy Governor Faruk Jobe, also cast their votes, marking their involvement in the day’s proceedings. Former governors Ibrahim Shema and Aminu Masari, along with current serving senators and ministers from Katsina, participated at their respective polling units, contributing to the widespread engagement.
After casting his vote at his Kofar Katika Polling Unit in Radda Ward of Charanchi LGA, Governor Radda expressed strong confidence in the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He emphasized that the party’s success would be inevitable, citing the many successful projects carried out under his administration. “We are confident that APC will come out victorious, and people can trust that their votes will truly count,” Radda declared.
