Benue: Gov Alia appoints Aondoakaa Special Adviser on LG Bureau

Benue State Governor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, has appointed Denen Aondoakaa as the new Special Adviser of the Bureau for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

The appointment was announced in a statement on Monday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Tersoo Kula.

Until his appointment, Mr. Aondoakaa was the Principal Special Assistant (PSA) to the governor in charge of the delivery unit.

He was a one-time branch Operational Manager at Fidelity Bank.

Mr. Aondoakaa previously worked at the Jos Electricity Distribution Company, Makurdi Regional Office, as head of revenue optimisation and as a Technical Adviser at the Benue Internal Revenue Service (BIRS).

He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance.

Also, Alia has redeployed the former Special Adviser, Bureau of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Denis Akura, to serve as an Adviser for Financial and Economic Strategy, Planning, and Development.
