Boeing offers to negotiate with workers amid strike vote

Boeing said Thursday it was “committed” to negotiations after its workers in the Seattle region voted to strike and reject a tentative new contract brokered with the embattled aviation giant.

“We remain committed to resetting our relationship with our employees and the union, and we are ready to get back to the table to reach a new agreement,” Boeing said in a statement.
