BREAKING: CBN Raises Interest Rate To 26.25%

Rising from its two-day meeting on Tuesday, the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has raised the benchmark interest rate by 150 basis points from 24.75 per cent to 26.25 per cent.

The committee is currently addressing journalists on the rationale for its action and providing other information.
