“Buhari Opens Up on Health After Leaving Office, Says He’s Feeling Better”

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has shared an update on his health since stepping down from office on May 29, 2023. He expressed that his health has significantly improved, noting that he looks better now than when he was still in office.

During his presidency, Buhari faced multiple health challenges that led him to seek medical treatment abroad on several occasions. However, since completing his two terms and handing over to President Bola Tinubu, Buhari revealed that he has experienced positive changes in his health.

At a recent All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders’ meeting held at the Katsina State Government House, Buhari discussed how the pressures of the presidency had taken a toll on his well-being.

“Those outside the corridors of power do not understand the complexities and difficulties facing Nigeria,” Buhari explained. “My health has improved since leaving office. People who visited me told me I look better than before.”

This statement marks one of the rare occasions Buhari has addressed his health since his departure from office, providing insight into the challenges he faced while serving as president.
