Daniel Bwala, former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign, has urged Nigerians to be patient over President Bola Tinubu on planned cabinet reshuffle.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday, Bwala emphasized that the timing of the reshuffle is entirely at the President’s discretion.
He explained that the President is likely making decisions based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) assessments of his ministers.
“He will do it when he wants to do it. The good thing is that he must have formed his own opinion based on assessment when they introduced this KPI assessment and any minister who has not been able to meet up with this assessment will be able to know,” he said.
He added that the President has the final say in evaluating his ministers and urged Nigerians to trust the process and be patient, as the reshuffle could happen at any moment.
“It is the President who is now the overall assessor. He even engaged the Nigerian people, he said ‘go and talk to them about the programme and he will do it when he will do it.
“I want to urge Nigerians to have the patience, the President will do it. It can be tonight, it can be tomorrow, it can be anytime.”
