“Centre for Peace Applauds Governor Kefas for Appointing Bishop Solomon as Chairman of BPCM”

The Centre for Peace and Good Leadership Awareness has expressed its gratitude to Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Governor of Taraba State, for appointing Bishop Innocent Solomon of the Crown of Life Bible Church as the new chairman of the Bureau for Peace and Conflict Management (BPCM).

In a press statement signed by the centre’s programme manager, Rev. Dr. Abel Nemuel Lamido, the organisation highlighted the appropriateness of the appointment, calling it a “right choice in the right direction.”

“Bishop Solomon is a prominent figure in peace activism and serves as the chairman of our board of trustees,” Lamido stated. “He is deeply passionate about peace, having studied it extensively and practiced it on local, national, and international levels. His leadership in various peace interventions across the state speaks volumes.”

The centre expressed their appreciation for the governor’s decision, stressing that Bishop Solomon’s extensive experience in peacebuilding makes him the ideal person to lead the Bureau for Peace and Conflict Management in the state.

“We are therefore grateful to the Governor of Taraba State for considering him worthy of this noble task,” Lamido concluded.
