A devastating fire broke out at the Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO) office in Oshodi, Lagos, near Cappa Bus Stop, on Christmas Day, leaving extensive damage in its wake.
The fire, which erupted around midnight, has been raging throughout the night, with rescue teams from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service working tirelessly alongside the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA) to control the flames. As of 4 a.m. on Boxing Day, efforts to contain the fire were still ongoing.
