Dr. Jude-Ezegwie, Former NBA Enugu Branch Chairman, Passes Away

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Enugu Branch is deeply saddened to announce the passing of its esteemed past Chairman, Dr. Jude-Ezegwie. 8/23/24, 3:09 PM Dr. Jude-Ezegwie, Former NBA Enugu Branch Chairman, Passes Away  Dr. Ezegwui passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2024, as confirmed by hiselder brother. Sources told TheNigeriaLawyer that he died yesterday, but did not provide details surrounding his death.
Dr. Ezegwui was a strong pillar of the NBA Enugu Branch, serving with dedication and distinction during his tenure as Chairman from 2020 to 2022. Prior to this, he also served the Bar as Legal Adviser from 2014 to 2016. At the time of his passing, Dr. Ezegwui was serving as a Council Member of the NBA – Section on Business Law.
“Dr. Jude Ezegwui’s contributions to the Bar and the broader legal profession are immeasurable, and his legacy will continue to inspire us all,” said V.C Odo,
Esq., the current Chairman of the NBA Enugu Branch. “We urge all members of the Bar to remember Dr. Ezegwui’s immediate and extended families in your
prayers during this difficult time. Let us extend our heartfelt condolences and unwavering support to them as we await further details regarding the arrangements for his burial.”
The NBA Enugu Branch extends its deepest sympathies to the family, friends, and colleagues of Dr. Jude Ezegwui during this time of mourning. His dedication to the legal profession and his leadership within the NBA will be greatly missed.
