Dr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji Denies Rumors of Appointment as Nasarawa SSG
Dr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, the immediate past Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Nasarawa State, has dismissed widespread rumors on social media about his appointment as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
In a statement released Thursday morning via his official Facebook page, Dr. Magaji clarified that there had been no formal announcement or communication from the state government regarding such an appointment.
“I urge the general public to disregard any reports circulating on social media that claim otherwise, as these do not originate from verified government sources. It is important to rely on official channels for accurate information,” he stated.
The rumors surfaced following the recent cabinet reshuffle by Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule. On January 3, the governor dissolved his cabinet, which included the removal of Barrister Muhammad Ubandoma-Aliyu from his position as the Secretary to the State Government. However, as of now, no official announcement has been made by the governor’s office regarding a replacement for the SSG role.
