Evict Igbos from Lagos and see ‘real war’ – Biafra separatist leader warns

Separatist leader, Princewill Chimezie Richards has said that if the threats to evict Igbos from Lagos persist, the Nigerian authorities should expect real war.

Richard who spoke in Ogoja on Tuesday, said if the Igbos must go, then all the South-West states must compensate them.

“The governments of the South-West states will have to settle Igbos before their eviction or else they wait and see their anger,” he said.

Richards, founder of the Biafra Nations League, BnL, which operates in the Bakassi Peninsula axis, warned the government that his group will take drastic action if the #IgboMustGo campaigners are allowed to carry out their threats.

“Igbos would gladly leave Lagos to a seaport closer to Igboland. We are just waiting for full operation of the Calabar seaport.

“The reason Igbos are still building mansions in Lagos is because their goods arrive in Lagos,” he said.

Commenting on the nationwide hunger protest, he lauded the people of the South-East, and parts of the South-South, for not taking part in the protest.

According to him, the demands of the protest organizers did not accommodate the interests of the region.

“The South-East and South-South regions were not carried along by the protest organizers. So we couldn’t have participated in such protest.”

He insisted that the protest in the North, where they’re displaying Russian flags, is not just about hunger but involves more than meets the eye.
