Ex-NBA President, Akpata’s Law Firm, Templars gets 4th SAN

Templars, the law firm of former NBA President, Olumide Akpata, has recorded yet another milestone with the elevation of its Partner, Olufemi (“Femi”) Oyewole, to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

Oyewole was formally sworn in on Monday morning at a ceremony held at the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Abuja. His elevation was confirmed by Oliver Gift Chukkol, a lawyer at Templars, who described the achievement as a proud moment for the firm.With this honour, Oyewole becomes the fourth Partner at Templars to attain the rank of SAN, joining Adewale Atake, SAN (2018), Godwin Omoaka, SAN (2019), and Inam Wilson, SAN (2022).
The SAN rank, equivalent to the English King’s Counsel, is conferred by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) on distinguished advocates and academics who have demonstrated outstanding excellence in the legal profession.
