FCT Police Deny Investigating ₦180 Million Theft Allegation by VeryDarkMan

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has responded to the claims made by social media commentator Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, regarding the alleged hacking and theft of ₦180 million from his NGO’s account. Otse had posted an Instagram video on Friday, stating that the money was transferred from the account, leaving only ₦20 million. He also claimed that a suspect had been arrested and they were heading to Jos to recover the stolen funds.

However, when contacted on Saturday, the police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, stated that the FCT Police was not aware of the case, nor was it involved in any investigation regarding the missing funds. The police spokesperson advised that Otse should clarify where the matter was reported.
