Fish out those who beheaded Abia couple – Gov Otti orders security agencies

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has expressed his sadness over the tragic news of the beheading of a couple in Bende Local Government Area of Abia.

The victims, Jacob Udo and his wife, Comfort Udo, were murdered and dismembered by yet-to-be-identified assailants.

A press statement signed by Chief Press Secretary Ukoha Njoku Ukoha said Governor Otti has directed security agencies in the state to thoroughly investigate and bring the culprits to book.

“The Governor, on behalf of the Government of Abia State, commiserates with the family of the victims and assures that the government is working round the clock to bring the perpetrators of the heinous crime to justice.

“He has also directed government officials to see how the dependents can be assisted in the interim,” the statement said.
