Fmr Gov. Of The EBF Long Williams Bids Painful Farewell To Murdered Colleague Oyibo Chukwu
In a heartfelt tribute, S. Long Williams Esq, the former Governor of the Eastern Bar Forum (EBF), expressed deep condolences to the Chukwu family on the tragic passing of Elder Victor Oyibo Chukwu. Elder Chukwu met a gruesome end on February 22nd, 2023, in a horrifying incident in Amechi, Uwani, Enugu, Enugu State.
S. Long Williams shared a poignant connection with Elder Oyibo, dating back to his tenure as Secretary of the Eastern Bar Forum in 2013. The bond strengthened when Elder Oyibo assumed the role of Chairman of the Oji River Branch in 2017.
Throughout S. Long Williams’ leadership, Elder Oyibo actively participated in Eastern Bar Forum Meetings, contributing significantly to the success of various deliberations.
The news of Elder Oyibo’s untimely demise has left S. Long Williams grappling with profound sorrow. Despite the pain, he acknowledges that Oyibo’s legacy will endure, for to live in the hearts of others is to live on eternally.
