FRSC vows crackdown on traffic offenders in Zamfara

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has directed its personnel in Zamfara State to intensify enforcement of traffic laws across the state.

Sector Commander Aliyu Ma’aji gave the order during a sensitisation programme for Unit Heads of Operations in Gusau on Wednesday.

He listed overloading, route violations, reckless driving and speeding as critical offences that must be curbed.

The commander also called for public enlightenment alongside strict enforcement, urging motorists to drive cautiously and obey road regulations to reduce crashes in the state.

Common traffic offences in Zamfara include overloading, speeding, dangerous driving, underage driving, phone use while driving, and use of fake or unregistered number plates.
